Mr Lindfield gave me confidence that my two eye operations would be easy and painless which they were. I was a nervous patient and so I was delighted. This consultant's manner was as good as it gets, everything was gently, calmly and slowly explained to me especially where he was giving me choices pre operations, before they were carried out on the day and in post op check-up. I now have the best eyesight that I have ever had in my life and everything looks amazing. I cannot recommend Mr Dan Lindfield enough...a wonderful experience.

Mr Lindfield has been reviewing my eye care at the Royal Surrey Hospital for over two years. Surgery was undertaken on the left eye on Thursday 20th May 2021, a cataract was removed and a replacement lens inserted plus drains to control the glaucoma. At all stages of the operation I was treated with respect , sympathy and professionalism by Mr Lindfield and by all his NHS team. I am looking forward to having similar treatment on the right eye.

I had laser iridotomy in both eyes. Mr Lindfield was amazing from start to finish. I am a very nervous person but he made me feel very relaxed and explained the whole procedure in detail. Would highly recommend him .

Having struggled with dry eye for years, one trip to Dan Lindfield helped enormously and the condition of my eyes is so much better. Apart from his obvious expertise, being approachable, attentive and keen to explain makes him the perfect consultant in my experience.

Mr.Lindfield has dealt with me for several years, with planned ongoing care and following unexpected emergency problems. He has always shown me great courtesy, patience and understanding. He is happy to give me time enough to explain the situation and to answer my questions. I have never had cause to be concerned about his diagnosis or treatment plan. Just as important, is the fact that he makes me feel that I am an individual patient even though he must have an enormous patient list. Together with his team, I genuinely believe he is a great asset to the Royal Surrey hospital and the NHS in general. Thank you Mr Lindfield.
